1. Summary
Factor Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. Your private keys, seed phrase and wallet password are created and stored only on your own device. We never receive them and cannot see, move or recover your funds.
This policy explains what limited information is processed when you visit factorwallet.org, download the wallet or contact us.
2. Information we do not collect
- Private keys, seed phrases or wallet passwords.
- Your wallet balance or a list of your addresses.
- Identity documents — the wallet requires no account or registration.
3. Information we may process
- Website logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of request, kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
- Downloads: anonymous counts of which platform build was downloaded.
- Support messages: your email address and whatever you choose to write when you contact us.
4. Public blockchain data
Transactions on the Factor network are public by design. Addresses, amounts and timestamps are permanently recorded on the ledger and visible in any block explorer. We do not control this data and cannot delete or alter it. Using a new address for each payment improves your privacy.
5. Network servers
The light wallet connects to network servers to read the blockchain and broadcast transactions. These servers can see your IP address and the addresses your wallet asks about. You may run your own node or connect through a VPN or Tor for additional privacy.
6. How we use information
- To operate, secure and improve the website and the wallet.
- To answer support requests.
- To detect abuse, fraud and technical problems.
9. Retention
Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Write to support@factorwallet.org and we will respond within a reasonable time.
11. Children
Factor Wallet is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
